Newtown Senior Center was the recipient recently of some new audio visual equipment. Rhonda Cullens, who serves on the board of Flagpole Photographers Camera Club, recently delivered an audio visual cart and a projector screen, which was donated by a club member, to the Senior Center on Riverside Road.

The camera club, which holds its meetings at the Senior Center, was also able to coordinate the delivery of a couple of other pieces of equipment to benefit the center as well. Newtown Cultural Arts Commission passed along a projector to the center, which was donated by Casio. The commission also plans to provide the Senior Center the use of a sound system which was donated by AmpliVox. Many other groups that meet at the Senior Center will be able to take advantage of this new equipment as well.

Newtown Senior Center is at 14 Riverside Road.  For information about the Senior Center visit http://www.newtown-ct.gov/public_documents/NewtownCT_Senior/index. For information about the camera club visit FlagpolePhotographers.com or email info@flapolephotographers.com.
