On Monday, April 17, Flagpole Photographers Camera Club members, Chane and Rhonda Cullens, along with their son Chad, were part of the Newtown delegation presenting Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy with a photo of Newtown that was taken by Chane. The photo, featuring the town’s historic Main Street flagpole, the Meeting House, and Trinity Episcopal Church, was taken from the hillside off Castle Hill Road which offers this iconic view of Newtown.
Pictured above at the presentation on behalf of the Town of Newtown to Governor Malloy, are Newtown’s State Representatives, JP Sredzinski and Mitch Bolinsky, State Senator Tony Hwang, First Selectman Pat Llodra, Chane, Rhonda and Chad Cullens, and Chief of Police James Viadero.
