Once again, Flagpole Photographers Camera Club had a great year in the New England Camera Club (NECCC) Electronic Interclub Competition.
In the Spring Competition, Flagpole finished 3rd in Class A Pictorial with a score of 94 points behind Greater Lynn and Photo Society of RI who tied with 97 points. Combined with a 2nd Place Fall finish and a 1st Place Winter finish, Flagpole ended the year in 2nd place overall with 281 points behind Greater Lynn with 288 points.
Congratulations to Erik Landegren for his 1st Place finish in Pictorial Class A for his photo, “Martini with Robyn.” Darrell Harrington received an Honorable Mention for his photo “Sunset By The Old Pier,” and Rick Tyrseck received an Honorable Mention for his photo “Dawn’s Early Light.”
In the Nature Class B Spring competition, Flagpole finished 2nd with 94 points being edged out by one point by Photographers Forum with 95 points. Four club members received Honorable Mentions: Robyn Abrams for “Houston We Have Lift Off,” Chane Cullens for “Looking For Food,” Patricia Powers for “Green Heron,” and Sandy Schill for “Flipping Breakfast.”
