2017 Flagpole Photographers Camera Club Holiday Party
On Thursday evening, December 7th, the Flagpole Photographers held their annual Holiday Party. The evening began with tasty appetizers and beverages and lively conversation. In due course, a lovely buffet of many delicious main courses and side dishes was laid out and Flagpole members and their guests helped themselves and sat down together to enjoy the feast.
After the main course and preceding dessert, those in attendance voted on their favorite photo in the competition which had “Simplicity” as a theme. Jim Talarino was the clear winner with a photo from 20 years ago of a spool of thread. Doug Bilinski was second with his photo of a bird in flight and Jon Gordon placed third with his black and white version of a leaf.
There were many wonderfully decadent desserts, including Bridgewater Chocolates. During dessert we watched a video of our 2017 programs – it was a very active year with 6 program nights, 2 workshops, 3 exhibits, scavenger hunt ….
It was a very pleasant evening and gave all an opportunity to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the party’s success.
