Welcome to the Flagpole Photographers web site.  Our season runs September through June.  We meet monthly on the third Thursday at 7:30 PM at Cyrenius H. Booth Library in Newtown, CT.

Each meeting has a print or slide competition for an assigned subject.  Meetings with print competitions also have a presentation by a guest speaker.  On slide competition nights, each entry is critiqued by a guest judge.

We hold an annual member's exhibit and competition each spring.

Guests are always welcome.  You must be a member to enter club competitions.

News:

The bylaws have been revised again (9/21/08). The change has to do with the "Open" category in monthly competitions.  The previous version (dated 8/12/08) allowed both "Traditional" and "Digitally Enhanced" entries.  This was a mistake.  Only entries in the "Traditional" category are acceptable.  Please go to the bylaws page link at the left and review them.

The print labels have changed as of 8/12/08.  Please use the new labels via the link on the bylaws page.
