Welcome to the Flagpole Photographers web site.  Our season runs September through June.  We meet monthly on the third Thursday (except June) at 7:30 PM at Cyrenius H. Booth Library in Newtown, CT.

Each meeting has a print competition for an assigned subject and an open print competition.  Most meetings also have a presentation by a guest speaker. 

We hold an annual member's exhibit and competition each spring.

Guests are always welcome.  You must be a member to enter club competitions.

News:

The bylaws have been updated as of 8/15/10.  The proposed changes to the annual dues are subject to a vote at the September meeting.  Please review the changes by clicking the bylaws link to the left.  The changes are highlighted in red.  Also note the change in the definition of "Nature" photographs which reflects an update to the PSA rules.  To read the complete PSA definition on their website click here.

2010/2011 Schedule

The subjects for next season are now listed on the schedule.  The speakers and programs will be added as they become available.
